Founding Ministers David & Jeannie Mok
Pastor David and Jeannie Mok are the founding ministers of the International City Church in Brisbane, Queensland. Their ministry began in Brisbane’s Chinatown over twenty five years ago when they started the first restaurant church in Brisbane’s Chinatown in 1987. During that time it was known as the Chinatown Christian Assembly and has now become a leading multicultural church in Australia on the cutting edge of multicultural worship, prayer and work among the nations of the community with a growing influence in the state and throughout the nation. Pastor Jeannie established the Multicultural Community Centre in 1995 which ministers to refugees, migrants, the unemployed, ethnic communities and nursing homes in culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
God has called Pastor David and Jeannie to spear head multicultural churches in Australia and they started the SYNERGY Multicultural Church Conference held annually in Sept-October. They both carry a strong apostolic & leadership anointing that has blessed many churches locally & internationally through the I-LINK ministry (Impacting Leaders to Impact Nations for the Kingdom) ministering in Malaysia, Slovakia, Kenya, China, USA, Pakistan, India, Singapore, China (Hong Kong & Macau), New Zealand and Nepal.
Pastor David & Jeannie have three grown children and four grand children, who are members of the church.
