Pastors Steven & Penny Lai
Net pastor (Overseer of Cell groups)
Steven and his beautiful wife Penny are elders of ICC who love the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind. They have been helping oversee the care cells of ICC and have shown the grace and love of God to many people around them. Dr Steven is a full time medical doctor who has a burning desire to see souls saved. As a result he has led many patients to come and know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Penny’s passion is for the children. Children are special, and sowing God’s love and word into such tender and impressionable hearts is a great privilege and an opportunity not to be missed. She has seen many of the young ones grow up and continue their walk with the Lord. Their desire is to see every Christian, young and old, know God intimately and live the supernatural lifestyle (ie moving in signs and wonders). They strongly believe that when we are connected to the vine (John 15), we will have the life of Jesus flowing through us, and we will bear much fruit in our own lives and in others.

Lee Gan is not Chinese (despite the “Lee ‘& the “Gan”). She is married to a very handsome and totally efficient Malaysian Chinese and they are the parents of three absolutely awesome children. As a member of staff, her responsibilities are varied. She comes from a background in teaching Japanese and now teaches three subjects at API. Her main service in the church is in the Follow Up Ministry where she is responsible for developing and coordinating a team of dedicated members to make contact with newcomers to the church and mentor new believers until they are established in relationships and roles. You can also find her hanging out around the bookstall and library being a bit of a book freak. If you need help in anything, she will connect you to the right person. Lee is an inspiring worshipper & intercessor and is also the head deacon who loves her church. |
