Cell Groups

A Cell Church | large enough to impact and small enough to care

Because ICC is a cell church and not just a church with cell groups, we encourage everyone to become an active member of a care cell.  Over 80% of our congregation are in cell groups and we have 40 cell groups ranging from youth cells to young adults and family cell groups that are multigenerational.

Although many of our cell groups are multicultural, we also have language specific and bi-lingual cell groups.  Most of the cell groups meet on friday and saturday evenings.  Each cell consists of  7-15 people who meet regularly for the purpose of spiritual edification, pastoral care and evangelistic outreach.

The emphasis of the cell is GROWTH & MULTIPLICATION

  •  to worship and seek God through His word,
  • to fellowship with other Christians in the group,
  • to reach out to others with the love of Christ.

What happens in a cell meeting?

The groups will usually open with a time of praise & worship (10 mins) followed by a time of sharing and Biblical discussion based on topics related from sunday sermons.  The cells usually conclude with a time of prayer and fellowship, where we enjoy a variety of different kinds of food.

Strong bonds are built so that when we go through tough times there is someone to love support and encourage us. Our cells are also fun. We regularly dine out, enjoy barbeques, go on bushwalks and make trips to the beach. It’s easy for us to bring our unchurched friends so we’re always meeting new people from all over th world and all walks of life.

Please contact Pastor Faith if you haven’t joined a cell group. We encourage you to join one this week!
