Childrens Ministry
Greetings and welcome to the Children’s ministry at the International CIty Church (Brisbane). My name is Mara Whittaker and I have the privilege of leading the Sunday school program for the past 5 years. I would like to introduce you to the ministries we provide for your children from birth to aged 12. We provide for children during all our Sunday morning services at the main church in the Valley (977 Ann st & 14 Proe St) and we have even started a kids program at our Logan ICC campus which meets on sunday afternoons.
Seeing children love the Lord Jesus is my passion. I believe that the Children’s Ministry is one of the greatest and most rewarding ministires to be involved in. We have a very talented team of teachers who bring individual talents and skills ot the ministry. All teachers have accredited child safety cards and many are working professionals such as doctors & counsellors in healthcare & government services.
Each sunday we run FOUR seperate exciting programs for the children with the aim to teach children to love, obey and serve the Lord Jesus. Due to the growing numbers of children attending our programs, some of our programs are held upstairs at the main church (977 Ann St) as well as 14 Proe St. Please contact Mara or any of the church greeters who can point you in the right direction.
| Little Cherubs (Nursery) birth to 2 years – Our nursery teacers and assistants will provide a safe and loving environment where babies and toddlers will have a positive experience which relate to simple but important truths about God. Parents are welcome to accompany their children and help out with the activities. | |
| Noah’s Ark 3 – 5 years of age – Children will grow in an atmosphere of fun and creativity. They will begin to express their imagination in skits, stories and songs while beginning to explore and investigate what Jesus taught. |

| J-Club (Jesus Club) 6 – 12 yearsThe program integrates the most up to date and relevant teaching methods and kids sunday school programs that connect and egage children at all learning levels. There is a strong emphasis on Christian values and having an everyday relationship with Jesus. We run separate classes for the following age groups: Junior J’s – ages 6 to 9 & Senior J’s – ages 10-12. Due to the increase in the number of kids – we are now holding some classes in our new building at 14 Proe St. |
