Creative Arts Ministry
The Creative Arts Ministry team is united team of worshippers who serve God and the church using their creative talents. We want all our members to develop a servant’s heart, that is faithful, available and teachable, and who are willing to offer their lives as living sacrifices unto the Lord Jesus (Romans 12).
The Creative Arts team includes:
- Worship Leaders
- Multimedia
- The Praise & Worship band
- The Multicultural Choir
- Sound & Video
- Lighting
- Service Directing
- Stage Design and
- Drama & Dance.
Joining the Creative Arts Team
Before joining the Creative Arts team you should firstly be an active & committed member of a cell group, because we value relationships and are interested in your Christlike character development, not just your talents. It is then hoped that when you have that spiritual accountability and fellowship you can then join the CAM team.
If you have a desire to be a CAM member, you should ask yourself: “Is this something you believe God is calling you to? “Sometimes the answer will be a definite ‘yes’, most times ‘I think so’, and other times ‘well, maybe…’ Each answer can help you find the right pathway.
Auditions | Ultimately, there will be an audition. These events make people understandably nervous and ” musicians generally play below their best and that should be taken into account. Musicians will be asked to firstly join the choir. They will then be asked to come prepared to a rehearsal to play a praise and worship song. They will be asked to play or sing along with the band.
